As a pan-Canadian pediatric cancer network, ACCESS plays a critical role in addressing the multi-faceted needs of the community in Canada. For this reason, we often explore novel approaches to accelerate pediatric cancer research and care.

Within ACCESS, Driver Projects are initiatives undertaken by the network to address the broader needs of the pediatric cancer community. They have the potential to significantly improve the cancer journey and foster tangible improvements in patient care, support and outcomes.

Initiatives designated as a Driver Project will:

  • Support at least three ACCESS research themes.
  • Reflect and adhere to best practices outlined by the Social Justice, Indigenization & Inclusion Committee.
  • Include knowledge mobilization activities.
