In the age of misinformation and information gaps, knowledge mobilization is an increasingly important process to bridge the gap that exists between relevant parties so that knowledge can be accurately and appropriately shared and exchanged.
The Knowledge Mobilization Group has initiated a project to better understand the knowledge mobilization needs of the pediatric cancer community in Canada and the existing infrastructure and resources that could be leveraged to help support this work.
Key Activities :
Develop and use a multi-modal recruitment strategy to reach the many relevant parties within the ACCESS community.
Assess the known knowledge mobilization gaps and needs of the community.
Review the existing infrastructure, resources, and programs that could be leveraged.
Curate an inventory of exemplar novel knowledge mobilization products, events, and networks that would be of benefit to the community.
This project will allow us to understand the knowledge needs of our diverse community, as well as the existing infrastructure and resources available, so that we can plan to provide the information that all stakeholders need through the media of their choice.
